Dumbasses -
I know that it's totally homerism and unimaginative and all that, but I'm
picking
CHRIS HORNER
to win Amstel Gold tomorrow.
thanks,

Great Amstel Gold finish. Never give up, never surrender!
Thought for a (short) bit that Cadel might be the man, but kinda tough
trying to repeat what worked at the world's. Not like everyone isn't
looking for it. Feeble attempts by others, but Gilbert just kept it up.
Of course, if he'd run out of gas and lost, in fine RBR tradition we
would have trashed him. Everything the did would have been stupid. I'll
bet that's what motivated him. Once he started, he lived in fear of
being trashed on RBR.

Are you trashing RBR?
So far, 2 threads have been started on the results of this race. They
both mock RBR. Now our feelings are hurt!

Horner has not gotten ANY RESPECT AT ALL going back to when
he got royally hosed by LANCE in 1996 at the Olympic Trials.
HE SHOULD HAVE GONE TO THE OLYMPICS!!

When I hear someone in Spain say that he can't get to a race
in The Netherlands because there are no flights, what I hear
is some guy that would rather ride in Spain.

What I hear is someone who doesn't have his shit together. But they're
not mutually exclusive.

Driving distance from Girona to Maastricht is about like driving distance
between Chicago and New York, or Seattle and San Francisco.

Dumbasses,
Driving across the continent to get to Amstel Gold would be pretty
stupid for a rider focused on the TDF.
