"The Vedas still represent eternal Truths in the Purest Form ever written"
Paul William Roberts – Oxford University Professor
VEDAS are meant to organize the society harmoniously of the followers of Sanatan Dharma and strictly prohibits individual gains in the pursuit of Dharma.

RV 1-97-8 has a Prayer to Manyu deva and Agni deva on WRATH "give us power not to become insensitive and silent spectators to social and moral evils and bestow us necessary wrath to fight against these evils".

"O, God give me wrath against social criminals and non divine people (avarnas) and wake me up from the deep slumber of insensitivity." Rig Veda

"OM Khamm Brahma" OM Thy name is God who is "Ek OM kar"- the only One God, Wise men describe Thee by many different names, including Vishwakarma- the Great  Architect of the Universe..
Being Thy children let us all become Thy divine bureaucracy and help Thy Grand wondrous Design by becoming Paramjot- Carriers of divine and noble knowledge contained in Vedas
Dear Spiritual Brothers and Sisters,

Subject: Brief Description of the Supreme Reality in Vedas.

A number of hymns in the Vedas describe God in details. A few hymns can be mentioned for proper understanding of Nirguna Brahma who is the Universal God. Rig Veda 6-15-13 and 14 mentions that He is a pure illuminator, unifier and remover of all miseries, commands all to observe non-violence and other rules of righteousness, which are a-priori principles beyond any sense experience.
Rig-Veda 6-47-18 says that for each form, He is the Model. It is His Forms that are to be seen everywhere, in spiritual and material things. He exists in all animate and inanimate life/things but He is manifest in the human beings where He dwells in their hearts (Sama Veda 860). A similar description that He dwells in the human hearts is also there in Bhagavad-Gita, Srimad Bahgavatam and many other scriptures.
Rig Veda 1-9-5, 6 mentions, "He is the Lord of knowledge, infinite wisdom and material wealth". He pervades the matter and the whole space (A.V.19-20-2). All the four Vedas describe that Thee and Thy laws (Rta) are the same. Those who follow His laws and commandments can realize Him in one birth. He is unborn (ajo) and incarnation of God as a human being is not visualized (Y.V.34-53, 40-8 and A.V. 10-23-4 ). He lives within you and you live within Him as one of His tiny living cells. .
The Vedic metaphysics contained in Upanishads tell us that He has no demand for material offerings, donations, blind, proxy and ostentatious worship but wants all the human beings to follow His laws (Rta) of social, moral and physical order and assist him in the maintenance of His Grand wondrous Design. Vedas tell us that all evils, corruption, bribery, naked selfishness and material desires are more rampant with people who do not follow His laws (Rta). Majority of such persons even create pollution of all kinds, environmental hazards, social and economic tensions in society and thus knowingly or unwittingly go against His laws and tend to create social, moral and physical disorder.
Vedas advise open discussions on religion, ethics, morality, divinity, soul, spirit and Prakrti in an assembly where all individuals are advised to participate. This august body in the Vedas is described as Vidhta. Being ineffable, He does not want the human beings to praise Him all the time about His attributes. As Sankracharya said, "even the words recoil to describe Him". Categories, quantity, quality, colour and words cannot explain Him. Thus Vedas give great importance that we should know and understand Brahman.
He is an impersonal God, impartial and Unmoved Mover but moves the universe in a wondrous design. There are a number of hymns relating to Rta-laws of God, which Brahman observes and follows Himself sternly. He never breaks them and this result in equilibrium in the entire universe. There is a mention that even animals, birds, plants as well as all inanimate things follow these laws. The more you understand and love Him, the more you go away from ostentatious, blind and proxy worship of gods. The inert matter starts disappearing and you start realising that all human beings are spiritual brothers and sisters. Vedic God has only blessings and mercy for all His creation and no curse for His creatures. If an individual is leading a miserable life of stress, it is his/her own creation as the individuals are their own greatest friends and their own enemies.
This brief description is from Chapter 8 of "Glimpses of Vedic Metaphysics" available on Internet for on-line reading and even taking print at no-cost. The book is accessible through google.com or Yahoo.com or lulu.com as well as Website http://www.sabhlokcity.com/metaphysics/.  Please visit my blog http://prem.sabhlokcity.com  for open discussion regarding Vedic metaphysics, Swaraj (self rule) and other subjects.

To strengthen Vedic Sanatan Dharma (eternal religion) kindly render divine social service and forward this e-mail to the seekers of Vedic knowledge.
With kind regards,
Yours Spiritual Brother

Prem .Sabhlok

P.S

Dear seekers of Vedic Knowledge,

Revival of Vedas will strengthen Hinduism. It will facilitate Hindus to explain Sanatan Dharma logically without bringing in mythology and also scientifically to our young children who are getting influenced by Western materialistic thoughts. I have seen during my past over 35 years of experience as a college lecturer and later as a senior government official that many Hindu children while filling application form/giving their bio-data write "Religion" as Atheism/Humanism.

If Hindu children write so in India , I am sure similar problem exists with Hindu children abroad.

Earlier we revive Vedas we strengthen Hindu religion/Dharma and avoid Hinduism (Sanatan Dharma- the eternal religion) from further shrinkage when two fast long distance runners i.e. Islam and Christianity are competing with each other to convert followers of other religions simply with the sole political aim of seeking world domination against the teachings of their own scriptures.

Vedas are relevant to day more than in the past. These Shurtis, revealed through the innate knowledge contained in the human souls of ancient Rsis (metaphysicists) and Munnies (wandering sages) contain ocean of harmonized divine, spiritual and material knowledge. Their revival can help us in making our politics as a noble Endeavour and our divided Hindu society as a well knit Divine society.

After studying Vedas I have tried my best with my limited knowledge and capacity to summarize major subjects contained in Vedas like Knowledge (janan), Vedic Economics, Vedic Society, Physical Sciences and scientific temper, MAYA, Rta (Laws of Nature), Atma/Jivatma/Jeeva, Prakrti, Supreme Reality and many other subjects in the book "Glimpses of Vedic Metaphysics". It is not a book on literature and perhaps not perfectly edited but covers comprehensively many Vedic main subjects truthfully.

Kindly feel free to improve the book and become paramjot- carriers of divine knowledge. My sole aim is that Vedic teachings, guidelines and thoughts reach each house/home of the followers of Sanatan Dharma through Internet, personal discussions, Satsang (spiritual gatherings), discourses etc.

The hard copy of the book is available through http://www.lulu.com.

AIMPF, SIFF to meet Burail jail inmates

Chandigarh, September 30, 2010

The members of the All India Mother-In-Law Protection Forum and Save Indian Family Foundation (SIFF) has requested the IG prison Hardeep Singh Doon to allow them to meet the Burail jail inmates booked under dowry act and dowry deaths.

The President of the local chapter along with the other members met the IG Prison Mr.Doon, here morning at the police headquarters, Sector 9, and have requested him to allow them to meet the prisoners locked in Burail Jail.

According to Manjit Puri, the president of the Chandigarh chapter, "We met the IG prison and have requested him to allow us to meet the jail inmates booked under dowry act and dowry deaths. The request has been forwarded to AIG. Following this, we would also meet the other jail in charge of various cities in Punjab and Haryana and will request them to allow the AIMPF and SIFF members to meet the prisoners locked there".

"We are backing AIMPF for this social cause. We would help and would fight on a collective front with AIMPF", said Mandeep Puri, coordinator Save Indian Family Foundation (SIFF), Chandigarh Chapter.

When contacted, HS Doon confirmed that a request has been received and the same has been forwarded to the AIG Prisons. AIG has been asked to allow these members to meet the prisoners, who as per the schedule will give a suitable date.

Hey Peeps in the NY area...
Sunday is PapaCarl's *Jam for Life,* in Trenton.
http://www.jamforlifefoundation.com/

There's a good chance Carl wouldn't be here posting, if not for his transplants.
So, we've all been blessed by the miracle of transplants.
I'm going this year, and was wondering if any of y'all would care to join me?
It's a good cause, & will give us a chance to actually meet - finally... also, we'll be
able to put to rest the rumor that we're all preprogrammed bots, and find out we're all
actually people! I've often wondered this deep mystery ;)

There'll be 2 stages, one outside, one inside.
Carl will be playing at 3:20 outside... and 4:10 inside. And the virgin Connie Swayle, I
mean Lisa Bouchelle, will be playing at 4:40.

Worked out that we're just playing the Bills (not that it's a trap game), but I suspect
there may be some TVs around, so we can check the score.

And if ya can't make it, you can donate to this great cause, on his website.

So ya can lump out on your sofa, watching the game... or listen to some good music, &
support a great cause... and solve one of the great mysteries of life (are we bots?) ;)

I'm in the same camp as papa and Rex. Only the good Lord knows why my

You must really love her, judging by how often you've been impersonating her lately ;)

Let's just hope he's not also raiding her wardrobe when she's away.
This newsgroup doesn't need any J Edgar Hoovers.

I forget the downstairs PC defaults to her google account. I am
trying to stick with my laptop when posting here. Any other way to
post/read this group other than google? For free, that is.

I don't let her go away. I'm not dumb.

There's got to be some other explanation. ;)

Don't all cry but he can't be worse than Wilson right now. Reading
the piece on the jets web site with Leonhard & communication makes me
think that having 2 DB's that know the offense is probably not a bad
thing.

Coleman could replace Wilson for Jets

By BART HUBBUCH

Kyle Wilson's nightmarish debut as a starting NFL cornerback last
Sunday appears to have earned the rookie first-round pick a quick
demotion.

Wilson and coach Rex Ryan both indicated yesterday that Wilson will go
back inside to the nickel (third) cornerback spot this weekend at
Buffalo and be replaced on the outside by Drew Coleman.

Wilson was pressed into starting duty against the Dolphins last Sunday
by All-Pro corner Darrelle Revis' hamstring injury. A review of the
film from the Jets' 31-23 win at Miami showed the Dolphins threw at
Wilson 11 times, completing seven for 107 yards. He also was flagged
27 yards for pass interference.

As a result, the veteran Coleman got some work with the starters in
place of Wilson in practice yesterday and appears likely to get a lot
more in the coming days.

"Kyle's struggling a little bit, without question, but I think Drew
has earned it," Ryan said. "Both of those guys will play a bunch,
[but] we as coaches think that [Coleman] deserves a shot."

Wilson, meanwhile, said late yesterday that he expects to be the
nickel back against the Bills.

"I've just got to look back and learn from it and become a smarter
player," Wilson said of his play against the Dolphins.

*

Ryan said the Jets put in a waiver claim on former Bills quarterback
Trent Edwards in part so they could "pick his brain" about Buffalo
going into Sunday's game.

The Jets' plans were foiled when Edwards was awarded to the Jaguars,
to the relief of third-string quarterback Kellen Clemens.

Clemens, though, said he wasn't offended by the Jets' interest in
Edwards because Ryan had come to him beforehand and said the team
wouldn't make the claim if Clemens objected.

"[Making a claim on Edwards] had nothing to do with replacing me,"
Clemens said yesterday.

Bills coach Chan Gailey, meanwhile, poked fun at the Jets' obvious
gamesmanship in claiming Edwards.

"That was an amazing coincidence that they needed another quarterback
this week," Gailey said yesterday.

*

LB Jamaal Westerman denied Internet-fueled accusations that he faked a
hamstring injury late in the fourth quarter Sunday to help the Jets
strategically.

Westerman didn't practice at all yesterday and is questionable against
the Bills because of ankle and hamstring injuries, which would seem to
credence to his case.

"Wouldn't it have been more strategic for the offensive guy to fake an
injury?" Westerman told The Post yesterday. "It looked kind of funny,
but it definitely was a cramp."

*

Revis did not practice yesterday and remains likely to miss his second
consecutive game Sunday.

What do you mean, "Once the Mets' season ends..."? If it ever started,
it ended a long time ago.

agree with all of your points... also... one team on the list
including the jets may blow a few games or they may have some amazing
production that was unexpected. the mob of nfl public opinion and
bandwagoneers changes week to week. my worry with the jets has alwas
been schott. the ravens game seemed to prove it but then the past two
games blew my assessment out of the water. going into the season,
with cromartie and wilson added on, i figured the jets defensive backs
would be the pearl of the team... they would go from number one
against the pass to the sublime. and look what has been happening....
like jim mora said in one of his melt-downs...

"You don't know. You just don't know. You may think you know, but you
don't know. And you never will."

that about sums it up, but i still plan to keep at it :-)

Michael, before the season started I thought 11-5 after opening with
two losses. This is the NFL where upsets are a part of life & we have
a young QB.

I am not that worried about Houston 3/4 DB's would not start on most
teams. They also have trouble picking up the pass rush vs. a good
3-4. Denver is tough at home

Or 'Eugene "My Man" Wilson' as I had unfortunately taken to calling him
when he was good.

Yeah, I saw that on JetsBlog... the guy is an imbecile, always has been & will be.
And our *Terminator* is on our team, because of him ;)
(We got Leon for him, and Connor for Leon)

lolz... im sure the producers came up with the idea and herm was good
enough to play along... herm had some good qualities. he was a good
player too. just not a great game time coach. i also like him as a
commentator... i cant think of anything bad to say about him other
than he was not a great hc. he'd probably be a good db coach

He embarrassed himself more as pretending to be an NFL head coach. And
he had the audacity to do it to us.

The New York Jets have intercepted the Ravens' plans to re-sign
defensive end Trevor Pryce, who Baltimore waived on Wednesday.

New York has agreed to a contract with Pryce, a league source told
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Jets head coach Rex Ryan coached Pryce
when he was an assistant in Baltimore.

Pryce ranks third in sacks among active players but has only one
tackle this season. The 35-year-old has not started any of Baltimore's
three games.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that there was a "high
possibility" that Pryce would return.

Pryce was waived to make room for safety Ken Hamlin, who was released
by Baltimore last week. Hamlin will probably contribute on special
teams in this Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"You've got roster issues that you deal with. It's not something we
wanted to do," Harbaugh said of the move. "Trevor is a big part of
what we're doing here, and we anticipate getting him back. It's just
what we had to do for now."

Harbaugh insisted that Hamlin was simply a better fit on the roster
for this week.

"We're going to put the 45 best guys out there," he said. "I would
rather have Trevor here this week playing, but we're not able to do
that. We just have a numbers situation."

Pryce's locker had not been cleared out at the Ravens' facility
Wednesday.

Interesting. He was always one of my favorite defensive linemen.
Pretty stout against the run but a beast in the passing game. Can get
around guys and can bull rush. He has a real good build for DE in the
3-4. On passing downs, they can use him on the interior, so that they
can rotate Ellis and Devito there. Or they could line him up outside.
He's pretty versatile.
