That was very funny. Now as Jet fans we have to pray you screw up the

He was out there, if I recall, on a punt return before he was *benched.* ;)

Kinda of says a lot about your team of losers yesterday... beaten up by a no-talent bunch
like the Jets.

hahahahaha. You crack me up. Except for QB position, the Jets
personnel is better than the Pats at nearly every single position.
OL: Jets by a wide margin. Pats OL nothing special at all.
RB: not even close. The entire Pats offense game plan was centered
around Danny Woodhead yesterday. That's pathetic and stupid. Like
night and day.. opposite ends of the spectrum
WR: OMG. The Pats suck ass here. Branch is the most overrated runt
of a WR whose only claim to fame is whatever Brady gave him many years
ago. Has done jack shit since and never anything without Brady.
WIthout Brady (and now even with Brady) he is nothing. Welker is
usually pretty good... but not yesterday. Compare that to the Holmes/
Edwards/Cotch Trio. OMG.. Like comparing little boys to men (a
comparison made so that Brian can understand).
The only advantage the Pats had was at QB, and yesterday, Berady
folded like a paper doll after getting knocked around early. Brady
displayed his epic pussyness for the world to see yesterday. He
really is a pussy.
DL: Here the Pas have an edge, albeit a small one if jenkins were
healthy. Yet strangely, Shaun Ellis was the best DL on the field
yesterday. Even that fat piece of shit, dirty player Wilfork got
stifled by the Jets OL yesterday.
LB: hahahahaha Jets win in a landslide. Mayo the only semblence of
a good LB on the Pats and yesterday, Mayo couldn't do shit. Looked
clueless right up to Shonn Greene casting him aside like a rag doll on
Greene's seal-the-victory touchdown run. Mayo looked lost.
DBs: I really like McCourty and Chung. And I'd personally like to
thank Patrick Chung for callineg the brilliant fake punt yesterday.
It wasn't Belichick folks... it was Chung, with all his many many
years of NFL experience, who called that ridiculous fake punt giving
the Jets the short field to set up Braylon's great TD, in which he
dragged several members of the Pats pathetic secondary into the
endzone with him. The Jets secondary, even with the deficiencies at
both safety positions, is vastly superior to that of the Pats.
Summary: Jets are a better team from top to bottom except at QB.
The entirety of the Pats success depends on one man out there, and on
days when he gets hit early, he turns into a little girl.
There you go Brian. Eat shit and enjoy it.

I know I'm surprised ;)
Seriously though, I understand Sanchez praising his position coach, but who else?
Why would the QB coach be praised by others?
Wonder what he does besides coaching MS ;)

since the second miami game, i think the offense has been run by
"suggestion". i got blasted after i posted it after the miami loss,
but i wrote that i was sure the offense was going to be taken over by
callahan or cav after that loss. sure enough, they have been
producing ever since and you hear cav's name put out there by the
players now more often than shotty's.

Yeah, all teams do it that way. The Jets had that one with Weatherford, a few weeks ago.
They have to do it that way, because nobody knows what the formation will be, until the
players are on the field & set. I just think the coaches need to educate players more on
situational thinking. Chung chose a poor situation to attempt it. Even had they made it,
they still would've had 50-60 yards in front of them... just like Weatherford.
But, I think the Jets had the Pats players in an uncomfortable position, by challenging
them, so, many of the Pats vapor-locked. I don't think I ever saw Brady have so many
vapor-lock moments. The Jets really did a number on his head yesterday.
Was pretty to see ;)

Brady didn't have a bad game, the Jest DBs did a great job on coverage.
all the sacks were coverage sacks, and Brady did manage to throw for 200
yards in the second half.

I'd like to see more McKnight. We could use some real speed, & quickness, in the

Patrick Chung called for the fake on his own initiative, BB didn't make that
call.
the long drive would have been fine if they had scored, there was plenty of

Another Myth exposed.
BB is the greatest, amazing, god-like human-being, if given two weeks to prepare.
Of course, unless his opponent has a solid week to prepare for him ;)

It's not aggravating... just makes me sad.
I wouldn't put Hannity with Maher. Olbermann would do, but Maher's a comedian... Hannity
is just a Goebbels wannabe ;) Do you watch Maher much? He actually has lots of
Libertarian views. He's not your typical Pinko swine ;)

Here's the line that I find very curious: "All we hear is about their
defense! They can't stop a nosebleed!"
Um, I didn't see *one* media figure lauding the Patriots defense
heading into this game. All we heard all year long was that the Pats'
D was one of the worst in the league, and how can the Patriots hope to
stop anybody. I tried to stand up for the D a little here in this
group, but I doubt Scott reads this newsgroup.
I can understand thumping your chest after a big win. Scott and the
Jets deserve to do that. I can even understand playing the "the
Patriots are overrated" card after the game. But to say "all we hear
is about their defense"????? *NOBODY* was talking big about the
Patriots' defense. Bart Scott, what on *earth* are you talking about?

I heard a lot about how the D would throttle the Jets O, the Jets wouldn't be able to rush
on the *stout* D, how they'd eat Sanchez alive, and how the D stats for the Pats were
really misleading... that they were better than their stats. At the same time, the Jets D
has been ridiculed in the Media.
Scott's a moron, but I understand where's he's coming from. He's the classic guy, with a
huge chip on his shoulder, for whatever reason.

Where did you hear all that nonsense. Who on earth ridiculed the
Jets' D? If the NY media was saying all this, ok. I didn't see or
read much nationally that made fun of the Jets' D or amplified the
Pats' D.
I think Scott is talking out of his butt on this one. But hey, if he
convinced himself that it's true and it motivated him, more power to
him.

"Jottland" aka "Jim S" aka "Splat!" is a pathetic serial troll who has
no life and no friends due to his severe mental illness. Trolling
newsgroups is the peak of his miserable existence, he is loathed by
those on all the newsgroups he pollutes with his presence. Suicide
would be his best option although his Ecuadorian wife may beat him to
it.

Are the NE Patriots the new chokers of the NFL?
2007 Loss to the NY Giants in the SB
2008 Did not make the playoffs
2009 Loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the Wild Card - ONE-AND-DONE
2010 Loss the the NY Jets in the Divisional round - ONE-AND-DONE
I LOVE the fact that because of the bye the Pats got, the season amounts to
another ONE-AND-DONE playoff loss season... That would be only 2 playoff
game appearances since 2007 and both were ONE-AND-DONE losses!
That's got to sting! :-)

Pittsburgh is a much better team than the Pats, IMO. They have a real
RB in Mendenhall (Pats running game was centered around Danny
Woodhead... PATHETIC), The pass rush is 100 times more intense than
what the Pats have and the secondary and run stopping ability of the
DL/LB are vastly to suerior than those of the Pats. I also like
Wallace better than the overhyped runt Branch (who has never done shit
without brady and now does nothing wioth Brady). And not for a minute
should anyone underestimate what Ward is capable of, even in his
advanced age. The Steelers OL is beat up a bit so I'm thinking the
Jets can force Roethlisberger to scramble around a lot. But this
rapist tends to be very successful, in fact sometimes deadly, when he
throws on the run. Roethlisbergger also doesn't fold like a paper
doll when hit like Brady does. In any event, the Steelers should (on
paper at least) be a much more formidable opponent than the overrated
Patriots.
