With modern farming techniques utilizing chemical fertilizers,
pesticides, genetically modified seeds, pollution, the poisoning
through the food is most common. This poisoning is causing cancers,
asthma, skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo and most
prevalent, arthritis.

Most of these diseases become aggressive with certain type of foods.
And every individual is succeptible to reaction of certain drugs.
Instead of depending on drug info data or doctor, one can decide
himself whether a particular food/medicine is suitable for his body
or not. In Message No. 3055, author had given certain tests for food
items, especially edible oil. There is almost 50% emphasis on food
intake in ayurveda. On this group, we frequently had querries on
suitable foods for certain diseases. Instead of having to remember
list of foods for each disease, or forbidden list, author uses a
simple test which every patient can do on himself. And he can point
out to Vaidya, if any medicine is unsuitable for him.

Any test to be applied must be simple, should not need any chemistry
laboratory equipment, nor any complex instruments. The essense of
ayurveda is simplicity. Ayurveda recommends eating foods which cause
mind to become satisfied and calm. And what happens when you do yoga
to pacify mind? Pulse count or b.p. reduces. Author has been using
this test for a long time. If pulse increases, the increase should be
minimum. Ayurveda relies heavily on pulse diagnosis. Though this
diagnosis technique is difficult to learn, one can at least be able
to feel and count his pulse for one full minute.

During the course of his research, this author found that similar
test is recommended by few western doctors also to judge foods for
maximum body support. Dr. Arthur Coca discovered that pulse rates
changed when foods had an adverse effect. However, It takes time to
test individual foods.

There are several ways to test pulse. Two fingers on your wrist at
the artery leading into your thumb is typical. You can also feel the
carotid artery in your neck, just below your jawbone. Or, if you have
a wrist type blood pressure monitor that also gives pulse readings,
this is adequate. You can count for one full minute. In sitting
position a healthy individual will have a count of 72, though this
author found that some individuals, who are regular Yoga and Pranayam
practitioners have a rate approaching 60 in sitting position. You
need to begin with keeping a record of your resting pulse in the
morning while still lying down on bed. Keep this up for at least a
week. It should remain relatively stable. Test one, if your pulse
rate does not exceed 72 in the morning, the chances are you have very
few food allergies, if any. You also need to test and record your
pulse just before you eat a meal and finally at bedtime.

When you are ready to test foods for suitability/allergies, start
with one single food. Whether it is a banana, or glass of milk, or a
piece of chicken, does not matter. Test your pulse just before
eating. Eat one thing. Test it again 30 minutes after eating. If your
pulse rate climbs more than 5 beats at most, your body is fighting
the food you ate (you are having an allergic reaction) and you should
not be consuming it as it is more injurious to your body than
helpful. Wait at least 2 hours before testing another food and then
repeat the process. It is ideally best to only test one foodstuff a
day, but if you are careful about what you are doing and do not do
anything that would raise blood pressure and pulse rate as the day
goes on such as physical exercise, this can be done a number of
times. It is also best if doing a multiple number of tests during the
day to not plan on eating regular meals as that will also effect your
responses. If you get an allergic type response, you should not test
the rest of the day so that your body can regain equilibrium.

One word of warning. If you have a cancer tumor, fever, infection,
body is already fighting it. When you take a food in such condition,
same food may evoke a stronger pulse rise, compared to normal times.
Secondly, if you take a certain item straight and with a little salt,
the pulse rise is going to be different. If you take 100 gm food or
200 gm food, the pulse rise will be slightly different. Hence see
that each time you take a fixed quantity by weight. This does not
require pan balance in the house, just bring only the fixed quantity
from market and divide equally if needed. you can test each food,
fruit, medicine this way. Certain medicines will cause pulse rise by
their action itself. This you can discuss with your healer.

In general, stable pulse indicates health. The day your rising pulse
is higher, you had eaten heavier diet earlier night, or their is
intoxicant present in your system. Pulse will go down a little after
bowels are evacuated completely. These are general principles and
exceptions can exist.

Take the pulse count yourself. In Healers office, pulse rate may go
up by 5 or more counts under tension, often termed "white coat
syndrome". Hence ayurvedic texts recommend taking the pulse diagnosis
three times in a consultation. First, when patient arrives, second in
the middle of consultation and third in the end, while sending the
patient out. These counts should be in reducing order. If found so,
you can assure the patient that he is on the path of recovery. Expert
vaidyas can tell if the patient is trusting Vaidyas skill or not,
just by pulse sensation.

This type of test will tell why pickles are discouraged in ayurveda.

नहीं हुई तो जल्दी नहीं उठा जायगा , अगर जल्दी उठ भी गए तो सारा दिन नींद

*कारण :*कभी कभी शरीर में कोई बीमारी होने में मुंह पर आँखों के पास सुजन

समय रहते अपने खान पान आदि को सही कर के व् डॉक्टर आदि की मदद से बीमारी

होते ही इलाज के उपाय कर सकते हैं

*कारण :*सुबह उठते ही पानी पीने ( उषा पान ) से शरीर की 40 से भी अधिक
बीमारिया ठीक हो जाती हैं

To be powerful is to fly easily over the biggest obstacle.

Projection: When there is an awareness of the inner strength,
difficult circumstances seem very easy to cross over. Nothing seems
difficult or as a big obstacle, but the inner strength gives the power
to very easily and quickly cross over all difficult and challenging
situations.

Solution: When I have the power to fly, i.e., to go above the
situations, I do not feel the bondage of the situation. So when I am
up above everything down below (even the biggest mountain) seems very
tiny and insignificant. So there is quick and steady progress
experienced even when there are difficult situations in my life.

The Fifth Phase/Age Of Humanity (cont.)

When we see and realize the significance of this current Age, the
fifth Age or the Confluence Age ('Sangamyug'), we also find greater
clarity in our life's purpose. It becomes obvious that the world will
not become a better place through more resistance or conflict; this
only adds to the sum of fear and anger in the world. To fight for
peace is a false belief which has taken over the human mind. To think
that peace comes from conflict, or that conflict is necessary to
achieve peace, is to think right comes from wrong. Deep change is an
incognito process (process which cannot be seen) within individual
souls. Through meditation or 'yoga' (union), we awaken and restore our
true, peaceful selves; we absorb the light of truth and love from the
Supreme and we are spiritually empowered. This we can then share with
others. As we radiate our spiritual energy and reflect the light of
God into the world in gentle and humble ways, the effects of our
self-change reach out to other souls as an invitation to do the same.

The nagging questions which must enter most minds at least once in a
lifetime (such as ''Why me?", "Why here?" and "Why now?") are answered
- our highest purpose is to help others know themselves as they truly
are i.e. souls and to help in reconnecting them to the Supreme. This
is why simply sitting in meditation, generating and radiating
vibrations which are peaceful and loving, can help to heal others and
the world itself. That is our primary responsibility at the Confluence
Age. When we take up this responsibility we assist the Supreme in his
task at the Confluence Age, i.e. bringing about the Golden Age.

2^nd National Conference on Microfinance in India : Issues and Challenges

Centre for Microfinance Research (CMR), Bankers Institute of Rural Development, Lucknow is organising the Second National Seminar on 'Microfinance in India – Issues and Challenges' to provide a common platform to a wide spectrum of policy makers, academicians and experts from MFI sector for interactive deliberations and discussions on the following four themes:

·        Agriculture and Microfinance
·        Tribal Economy and Microfinance
·        SHG Bank Linkage Programme – Looking Ahead – The Roadmap
·        Migrant Workers : Tackling issues relating to remittances

Each session will have a Panel consisting of 3-4 eminent experts/practitioners from the sector. 3-4 papers of original research done in the microfinance sector will be presented by various Authors followed by floor discussions in each Technical Session. On the sidelines of the seminar, technology vendors will be showcasing their products and services useful for microfinance sector.

The programme would commence at 9.00 AM on 21 February 2011 at BIRD, Lucknow and will conclude at 05.30 PM on 22 February 2011.

Maybe it's just hard to switch gears for the style of teams you're facing.
Both the Colts and the Pats are more finesse type teams while the Steelers
are smash-mouth. The Steelers had to play that same physical game in their
playoff victory over the Ravens. The Jets got to be the bully in their
games.

You could be right that all the hype surrounding the Jets affected how they
prepared. They just weren't ready to face another physical team again.

i dont agree with you. pouha and devito make a nice first down line.
they were not the guys trying to make arm tackles yesterday. the jets
problem on in general defense is they dont have a good pass rushing
sub package to put in. they have plenty of db's and a good run
stuffing set. none of their defenders are very good pass rushers.
pace has had trouble getting off blocks, ellis only got sacks after
brady held the ball for seven seconds, jason taylor is no longer jason
taylor... their real problem yesterday on defense was just horrible
fundamentals and lack of focus and effort.

Sure, let's get this travel worn defense tired against a real rushing
threat (unlike the Pats or the Colts)before it was necessary. Yeah...
that's a great fucking idea on the road in the playoffs. Neither the
Pats nor the Colts challenged the middle with a running threat.
Pittsburgh with Mendenhall sure did and that's what killed them in the
first half.

I really think that all the travel wore them down. Need home field
next time.

FInally, with all that said, this team lost the game for two reasons:
a tired and undermanned defense that was forced to be on the field way
too long in the first half, partially by Rex's stupid decision to
defer and because Schottenheimer is an idiot and has no idea what to
do out there.

If they start winning at home I will agree but we struggled all week.

You might be right but Sanchez has some work to do as well. If this

To me, having worked in a field that used similar communications, it's very troubling that
it happened at that moment. It's the home team that is responsible for communications.
A system & the backup going out at once, makes one wonder ;)

And that, too... LT didn't even go over the top.
9 carries for 15 yards, or 9 carries for 50... Schott chose the former, at a critical
time.
For you, you're ok with Schott. But for me, and a lot of others, it's the same nonsense
every game. And I try to keep an open mind, I couldn't have thought we'd win yesterday,
if I didn't. But it's impossible to, especially knowing that in the end, the wrong play
will be called... using the wrong player... at the wrong time.

The bottom line... when an offense cannot score a TD in the first quarter, for 13 or 14
straight games, is it on the players... or might there be a problem with the OC?

Deferring is highly over rated. You would think he could have read his own guys before the game - Mark certainly would have been fine, but not after sitting on the bench for near 18 minutes of real time. It was the worst possible way for the game to start yesterday, with an outcome that seemed obvious. The fact that they made it a game in the end shows how wrong it was to go that route. Here's hoping Rex changes his mind next season on this issue.

I think that opening drive took any life that the Jets had right out
of them. Still, the Jets are a defensive team, and as such, you have
to make stops. It's not like they weren't on the field. They couldn't
make a stop in the first half. They are a team that relies on
emotion, and they spent all they had the week before against the
Pats. I'm not sure it would have made any difference if they got the
ball first, to be honest.
