You don't need to go that far back:

Dumbass,

With 13 guys out front you have to wonder which big
riders will start to chase down a teammate. I understand
that's the smart and honorable strategy.

Just a reminder, this is a fraud investigation, not a doping
investigation. Paying someone for a doping program is not a
crime in the US. Nor does the US have sporting fraud laws,
like Italy does.

With respect to the fraud investigation, the money transfers
have to date from US Postal's sponsorship term. Otherwise
they're just whacking material for Laff.

If this was via PayPal for something Ferrari sold on Ebay, Ferrari is
completely TOASTED. Those guys at Ebay have complete information about
everybody and everyone who ever lived AND everything that's ever
happened! Ferrari is DEAD MEAT because computers ARE MAGIC! Just wait
and see!

It'll be in the Wed. papers because this will all happen on Tuesday.

It only looked easy 'cause he was being double-teamed by the two most

Agreed - (see other post )

But it's really fucking hard to win a bike race - and now we have a
guy that takes the triple ? Last time we saw that was Davide Rebellin
- famous user of EPO and CERA and dq'd out of Beijing silver

Doesn't matter that Rebellin was doping, everyone else was, too,
remember??

Now that there's no more doping in pro cycling, it's still a level
playing field. (snicker)

If only Vino's wheel hadn't exploded. Then he might have
won LBL, and since he'd prevent Gilbert from winning the triple,
we could have confidence that the winners are all clean.

Now that Novitsky has scared everyone straight, I expect
that this year we'll see some real suffering in the mountains.

"Killer instinct" may be a requirement for the Classics, but a GC
contender is going to benefit greatly from "talent." But talent still
has to be managed, and who is managing the Schlecks? If they'd been
properly managed, wouldn't they have put a high priority on time trial
performance? Recent results don't show that to be the case.

Day after day after day, Andy has shown he can be there, he can avoid
the big mistakes. But he's not going to do anything spectacular, and
he's not going to win any TTs, so he remains vulnerable to guys like
Alberto Contador and... well OK, not coming up with much of a list after
that!

This is the reason it might not stick-

"The former teammate said he detailed some of his own drug use to
investigators, even though he has never tested positive for performance
enhancing drugs or methods."

If I were Novitsky, I would be testing and retesting and then testing
again any remaining samples that might exist from this guy, hoping to
find something to back up his claims. It's ironic that the rider's
claims would go further if there was evidence he (the accusing rider)
had actually doped.

It is just so bizarre that, in a world full of phones that take photos
and record conversations (photos generally since 2002; memo/conversation
recording long before that), nobody has anything incriminating. Nobody
accidentally left a phone in record mode during a meeting, nobody took
any photos of doping paraphernalia on the sly. Look at all the stuff the
Enron guys did that got them nailed. Look at Nixon's tapes. Lots more
examples if you look for them, but nothing from cyclists?

Are people here going to now claim that pro cyclists are too intelligent
to do such things? That would be a first!

The problem is the Little 5 is both brilliant and stupid. Their amateurish amateur rules leave the event isolated from mainstream cycling, which is kind of what they want.

Recruiting a non-cyclist like Eric into the ranks of cycling is pretty much the best-case scenario for people who want IU to be a source of cycling development. But I think riding in your future pro team kit before the Little 5 is rubbing noses in it: rather akin to doing your Final Four shoot around in Lakers warm-ups.

Dear Mr. Kirity Roy

Please allow me to inform you that the families of 34 Ashraf residents whom were shot by Iraqi forces, and subsequently lost their lives on the attack which occurred April 8 2011, called upon the international community and live consciences world-wide in a letter.

I attached a copy of this call and request that you lend a helping hand and let the world know of it by informing all you possibly can, and the international community; also I request and urge you to support this call and back the families of those who perished in the deadly attack at Camp Ashraf.

I appreciate if you could send this letter along with a short note asking other Humanitarian and relevant organizations to support the families' call by sending a letter to Secretary General of UN.sgcentral@un.org

CC: ashrafjurists@ashraf-ir.org

          I thank you once again

Respectfully,

NaserFaghihi

President

 Society of Jurists of Ashraf

Camp Ashraf – Iraq

Call by families of the bloody-Friday massacre victims in Ashraf on April 8th

The April 8th attack of murderous forces under the command of Maliki mobilized with dozens of armored personnel carriers and vehicles, and while carrying out direct and targeted shootings, resulted in the murder of 34 of our defenseless family members in Camp Ashraf and left about 350 others injured.

The massacre of our family members, who were protected persons under the Fourth Geneva Convention and the United States had specifically made a commitment to protect them, is a flagrant crime against humanity. Following this massacre, on the orders of commanders under Maliki's command, the repressive forces have continued to loot and plunder our properties and belongings in Ashraf, and destroy whatever they cannot take, turning Ashraf into a military occupied area.

Maliki's spokesperson in the Ministry of Defense falsely claimed that the Iraqi Government is not preventing the burial ceremony from taking place. This is while the Iraqi repressive forces, 12 days after the brutal onslaught, in violation of all humane and Islamic standards, are preventing the burial of our loved-ones in Ashraf's cemetery. Such an act is only a reminder of the Iranian regime's atrocious measures, and is a clear breach of international laws, covenants and conventions. We have numerously called on the United Nations and the US forces to provide the circumstances for the burial ceremony by handing over the cemetery to the Ashraf residents.

The critical conditions of our wounded increases our concerns. They are wounded by gunshots or shrapnel, or being crushed by armored vehicles, and many now are paralyzed or maimed. Ashraf, under an ongoing 2-year-long siege, has no means to provide treatment for this number of wounded individuals.

We, the families of the recently murdered Ashraf residents, call on the US Embassy in Baghdad, the UN, representatives of Western and Arabcountries and governments in Iraq, the EU, international organizations and especially their representatives in Iraq, the media, political parties, independent political and parliamentary dignitaries and societies, and Iraq's religious figures for assistance to investigate this anti-humane crime and prevent its recurrence. We also request an impartial, comprehensive, transparent and independent inquiry into this tragedy by a representative of the UN Security Council so that they can visit Ashraf and hear Ashraf residents and all witnesses without any restrictions, and inspect the remnants of this crime and massacre.

Of the Four billion,$3.3 billion comes from Obama promoter Soros!!!
Surely the "greedy" people are Rethuglicans??? Nope!! Obama
supporters!!!

Why won't Obama supporters pay their "fair share"??????

The runner-up in the ranking was George Soros, the Hungarian émigré
who has become better known in recent years for supporting Democratic
candidates and making political headlines than for picking stocks. His
fund, Quantum Endowment, grew 29 percent in 2009, earning Mr. Soros
$3.3 billion in fees and investment gains.

Nice failed attempt to inject a Red Herring into the discussion,
loser.

Who gives a flying fart who xyz super rich person who does nothing to
earn his money supports? The PROBLEM is that these people have vast
unearned incomes and are paying little to no taxes on them. This is a
free country, the wealthy can have any damn political opinion they
want just like anyone else. The issue is the distribution of income
and the US policies that encourage it, not who some jackwagon
supports.

The issue is the distribution of income
and the US policies that encourage it, not who some jackwagon
supports.

--------------------------------------------

I'm at a loss to understand the warped logic you applied in the last
paragraph. I'm assuming that you are referring to the hedge fund managers
who earned money last year. However, you claim that they do nothing to earn
the money. This doesn't make sense. They have to work to invest (if you're
going to bet on the horses, it's a good idea to know something about horses)
and assume risk for bad investments. From the same article you promoted:

"For many of the top 25, the big personal gains in 2009 came after steep
losses in 2008. Half of the top 10 managers in 2009 lost money the year
before, including Mr. Tepper, whose flagship fund, Appaloosa Investment Fund
I, dropped 27 percent in 2008. "

Thus, they earn their money.

The next twist you present is that "This is a free country..." followed
quickly by defining the problem is the "distribution of income." It seems
that people earn the income they earn. What is the problem with the
distribution? What part of free is confusing you? Can you clarify your
position?

"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said, in a rather a scornful tone, "it
means just what I choose it to mean-neither more nor less."
"The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many
different things."
"The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master that's
all."
Alice was too much puzzled to say anything, so after a minute Humpty
Dumpty began again. "They've a temper, some of them-particularly verbs, they're
the proudest-adjectives you can do anything with, but not verbs-however, I
can manage the whole lot! Impenetrability! That's what I say!"

The problem is simple The productivity of the American worker has more
than doubled since 1980. His real wages have declined at the same
time. The people whose incomes who have gone up are the managers,
company owners, investment bankers etc. whose 'productivity' put the
US in the current economic crisis and on the road to ruin.

They haven't earned jack yet they are living high on the hog based on
the improved productivity of the Working Stiff.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Productivity is influenced by a number of factors - improvements in
processes, shifting of the products/services being produced, and, as you
seem to imply, workers working harder. Since 1980, there have been
significant changes in the world's economy. In 2011, the US is simply a
competitor in a global economy. One analysis of worker productivity over
the period 1979 - 2007
(http://seekingalpha.com/article/97931-the-great-american-worker-productivity-increases)
shows US worker productivity growth at a 3.9% annual growth rate. Over that
same period, Taiwan shows a 5.9% and Sweden at 4.4%. This leads to the
conclusion that US workers are not uniquely productive.

Determining wages is another complex problem. One approach for isolating
worker wages might be to look at the metric used by the Social Security
system. The National Wage Index (http://www.ssa.gov/oact/cola/AWI.html)
shows increases from $11,480 to $40,710 over that period. Directly
comparing these measures of productivity and worker's wages doesn't appear
terribly out of balance.

There has been a significant increase in compensation to the upper echelon
of corporate management. However, I cannot seem to find anything that shows
that their compensation is the cause of our current economic turmoil.
Perhaps you have a reference that might support that assertion.

In searching for the largest drain on the US economy, it doesn't take a
rocket scientist to recognize that the US government has spent us into near
economic collapse. The over $14,000,000,000,000 debt they have saddled us
and future generations with is unconscionable. However incompetent the
government is at handling money, they are at least equally adept at
directing citizen wrath towards other targets. The class warfare that you
evidence with your "They haven't earned jack yet they are living high on the
hog based on the improved productivity of the Working Stiff" comment shows
just how effective the administration's "tax the rich" mantra has been.

"A billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon you're talking real
money!"

Wait...didn't Eric say:

"$9 million ISNT the big problem fucktard. It's the guys like the
hedge
fund managers who earn FOUR BILLION in one year and pay essentially no
taxes. These guys AREN'T running productive corporations, they are
just skimming fees from managing money."

Then you state half of the top ten managers LOST money???? (We already
covered that $3.3 billion was Soros).

That means that Eric's "the rich are getting richer (except for Soros
of course) comment totally invalid!!!

Eric gets the bitch slap again!!

Damn!!!! I scored the hat trick!!!!!! Yippee!!!!

His family can think it is funny while he lies in the morgue.

I have to side with the police on this.

You walk into a mall with this umbrella you're telling the police
1. you have a gun and 2. you're willing to use it.

You can defend your right to carry this umbrella
all the way through the morgue.
