Toughness doesn't win games. Points do. And the way the NFL keeps
changing the rules, it looks like toughness is quickly becoming a way
to lose games.

i like the idea of your ranking system that takes into account
subjective "it" factors.

the colts are not a tuff team, though. they have a qb with a
competitive tuffness. without manning, the colts would be a real
dud.

also... how come you dont have detroit up there ??? their defensive
line is picture of tuffness.

and... take pittsburg off the list. we are talking about tuff teams,
not tuff officiating crews that win games for them or tuff talking
poser head coaches.

agree about the jets, though... right up there where they should be.
even pretty boy sanchez does tuff things... diving head first, gutty
come-backs and so on...

I guess he had an impressive game. Where I question the value of the
pick is the fact that he'll start the season on the bench. There has
been some talk in Boston media circles though that they put him at RG
if he continues to look good. But he's just so damned tall, it could
actually be detrimental to put him there. Seems like Light would be
the better fit at guard, but Belichick has basically said in the past
that Light can only play LT and nothing else. Interestingly, neither
of them have seen any reps at guard throughout camp.

haha... i love that the pats are good. it is best to have great teams
in your div that are worth paying attention to. the jets vs. pats
have been the best thing about jet football since the jets vs fish
went off the radar. i wish the fish and bills would improve so we can
get six exciting and hyped games a year instead of only two with the
pats. i agree with you though... the pats are proven division winners
and playoff losers. that will be my feeling until they do otherwise.

i dont think the value is really a question in this case even if he
sits for a year. he's there as top quality back-up if need be, and
light wont go too much longer. just like top quality qb's, top left
tackles are not falling out of the sky. since we know light is at the
end of his career, it was the smart play to take solder. i agree
about him not fitting in as a rt. he's too long to be ideal.
still... he may be able to do a fair job of it if they need him to
line up there. he really looked very good. i expected him to work out
like brick, but obviously not the case. solder is good to go right
now.

Mark, I am jealous of the depth. It is why I hold out hope on Ducasse.
They draft him after playing tackle & try him at guard. Then this year he
practices at tackle to hopefully play RT & when Moore isn't ready & Turner
goes down gets moved to guard. He has played RT --I think-- RG, & LG this
pre-season.

I wish Ryan brought more big bodies into camp.

On big bodies in camp did anyone else notice that Ellis looks like he is #3
at NT behind Pouha & Tevasglkjkjj (sp?). We have 5 Islanders on this team.
I like it.

That is all they make.

You should see their women. They don't stay looking like "Mutiny on

Why "never" ??? Can you expand on that ???

You dont think a woman place kicker would ever be considered if one
came along that was 100 % inside the 40 and 90 % from 50 yards out ?

Ducasse might be a slow learner or something. Everyone thought Brick

X-No-Archive: Yes

This kid will probably get cut by the Texans. I am not sure of the rules on
practice
squad so Houston may not be able to keep him. He is #5 after 4 tailbacks &
is a bit of a tweener in that he is too
small for a true FB at 220-230 & just a little slower than you want.

If Powell can't help us then we should look at this guy. He has great
hands,
he is great run blocker, he is a hell of a receiver & he can get the tough
yards. At UT when Mack Brown finally woke up this guy got the tough yards &
was in there on passing downs
not Jamal Charles.

Former Texas star Ogbonnaya gaining notice at Texans camp, bonds with RB
Foster
By Associated Press, Published: August 17 | Updated: Thursday, August 18,
3:47 AM

HOUSTON - Chris Ogbonnaya has bonded with Houston Texans star running back
Arian Foster, and it's only fitting.

The 25-year-old Ogbonnaya is in the same spot Foster was in two training
camps ago.

An undrafted free agent, Foster was fighting to stay on the roster and not
only made it, but went from the practice squad in 2009 to the NFL's rushing
title in 2010.

Ogbonnaya spent last season on Houston's practice squad and tried to soak up
everything Foster told him.

"His path that he's taken has garnered a lot of respect for him, not just
from me, but from everyone around this league," Ogbonnaya said. "He's a
great player. What he's been through last year, coming off the sideline, it
was easy to listen to him."

With Foster watching on Monday night, Ogbonnaya made a big impression
against the New York Jets, scoring twice and producing 104 total yards.

The former Texas star was the last running back standing after Derrick Ward
left in the first quarter with a concussion. Foster, Steve Slaton and Ben
Tate were already sidelined with hamstring injuries.

"I'm proud of him," Foster said of Ogbonnaya. "He's the one constant, the
one guy who's stayed healthy through this whole training camp. He works
hard, man. All I can do is wish the best for that guy."

Ogbonnaya is also spurred by the success of Terrell Davis, a sixth-round
draft pick who was a three-time All-Pro for Denver when Texans coach Gary
Kubiak was the Broncos' offensive coordinator. Davis started his first
training camp as the sixth-string running back and worked his way into the
starting job by the time the season began.

"His career just took off," Ogbonnaya said. "For me, everybody's story is
different. I just hope that at some point, I can make a mark on this team."

The 6-foot, 225-pound Ogbonnaya was a seventh-round draft pick by St. Louis
in 2009, then was cut last September. The Texans signed him within days, and
Ogbonnaya worked quietly all season on the practice squad.

After the season, Kubiak told Ogbonnaya to stay fit and mentally focused
because, as it did with Foster, an opportunity could emerge at any time.

Ogbonnaya worked out with teammates in Houston over the summer, but knew
coming into camp that the numbers were stacked against him.

Foster, who returned to practice on Wednesday, is the starter and Ward the
likely backup. Slaton and Tate are vying for the third-string spot and
although both missed team drills again on Wednesday, Ogbonnaya knows they'll
take away some of his carries when they get healthy.

For now, Ogbonnaya is only focusing on what he can control.

"This is a time for me to make the most of my opportunity," he said, "to
make a mark on this team and try to earn some respect, if not here, then
around the league. It's a crazy business. I just hope I can make it stick
here."

Ogbonnaya has had to wait his turn before. At Texas, he backed up Jamaal
Charles and Selvin Young in his first two seasons, then shared carries with
Vondrell McGee and Cody Johnson in 2008.

But that doesn't mean he was forgotten. After Monday night's game, Ogbonnaya
got a text message from Longhorns' coach Mack Brown.

"He was just telling me just to keep working, that he was proud," Ogbonnaya
said. "But just to keep pushing."

Kubiak said the projected starters will get more snaps in Saturday's game
against New Orleans than they did against the Jets. But with Ward, Slaton
and Tate still sidelined, that could mean another heavy day for Ogbonnaya.

And he can hardly wait.

"Same mindset," he said. "Every day out here is a day to grow, a day to get
better. You've got to come prepared to do the same thing every day, and try
to get better."

Foster, meanwhile, said his hamstring feels "100 percent," although he'll
also be careful not to re-aggravate it.

"Hamstrings are a part of a runner's life," he said. "You can't really ever
know when it's healed, unless you just feel it. It's kind of a feeling that
you know. Right now, there's just no reason to push it, go all out and try
to win a marathon race or a sprint. We're just going to take it day by day."

Slaton and Tate worked with a trainer on a separate field from the team
Wednesday. Kubiak is still concerned that Tate, who missed last season with
a broken ankle, isn't getting enough carries to be ready for the Sept. 11
season opener against the Colts.

"He's missed a lot of time as a pro football player and we're waiting to
get him out here," Kubiak said. "I'm hoping like heck he's on this field
(Thursday) morning. We'll see, but it looked like he took a big step forward
and needs to get out here and compete."

Nice idea as I'm not particularly impressed with McNight or Powell and
he looked really strong in our game against them. The question here is
whether Tannenbaum can swallow his pride and drop one of ours for Ogbo.

I don't think McKnight = Greene but he is better than he looked at this time
last year. Quiet Papa.

Powell is making me nervous as I have not read much about him. Usually every
rookie RB gets rave reviews. I would give him a 1/4 with the starters. We
know what Greene, Tomlinson & we need to know what he can do.

This guy, Chris O, would be steady not spectacular.

Looks like we'll be seeing D Mason as the #2 more and more. But look at
Mason's age and suddenly the receiver corps looks very vulnerable. And
a guy as good as Cotchery in the slot will be hard to find. The kid,
Kerley, doesn't look like he's got the greatest hands. Maybe that's why
he dropped to the 4th round?

Sanchez may indeed improve, but he might wind up having to throw to
Holmes and a bunch of unproven WRs in order to do so. Of course there's
always Keller, and the new kid on the block, Cumberland... maybe.

Girls Who Want to Meet Someone Like You!
Hey microvin2,

Is your summer in need of some sizzling passion? Turn up the heat with a steamy fling from Adult FriendFinder and get naked!

Picture Perfect! TOP
It's sad when we see super foxy Adult FriendFinder members with unappealing, blurry pics. Don't shoot yourself in the foot with fuzzy, out-of-focus, and unflattering photos! Check out these tips on shooting the kinds of pics that get noticed:

Mix it up. Take a wide variety of photos in different outfits and settings, and don't just do the same ol' camera-phone-pointed-at-the-mirror pose. Take your cue from this fierce vixen, aka_fleursauvage.

Clear the background. Don't let a messy bedroom distract us from your bodacious body. Shoot against a bare white wall or drape a sheet over your door for an instant backdrop. Keeping it simple puts the focus on you!

Use more than one photo. It's proven that members with more pics get more responses, so shoot away! We'll let you upload hundreds of photos to your profile, so there's no reason to skimp!

So grab your camera, channel your inner photographer, upload more photos, and start getting noticed!

Blistering Exhibitionists Aplenty! TOP
Adult FriendFinder is home to the hottest, wildest exhibitionists on the web – but you already know that!

But if you need more proof, look no further than gorgeous mandykl!

Speaking of voyeurism, check out our incendiary Hottest Member Videos Gallery! Every day, our members upload thousands of hot, uncensored, real videos of themselves and their play partners!

And don't forget our Hottest Member Photo Gallery – if you upload some scintillating pics of your own, you just might end up in there!

Whether you're an exhibitionist or a voyeur, Adult FriendFinder has everything you desire – so log on, and start sharing the love!

Get the Golden Touch! TOP
Trying to get noticed by a sassy little vixen like cielosweetsweet? A Gold Membership can help turn her eyes your way.

Going Gold means limitless access to hundreds of thousands of photos, advanced search options, the ability to email as many beauties as you like, and much more!

Only Gold members can see all of a member's photos (including the naughty ones!) and in extra-large sizes, to boot.

So polish up your profile with Gold, and start reeling in the women!

Why not tonight? Log on to Adult FriendFinder!
