So what were these "special circumstances" on Sunday?

they should dock the jets their first round draft choice for this
camera infraction... i say this, because the way the jets have been
drafting, it will save the fans from having to stomach another bust.

To think that the Colts get two Montanas in a row is a bit much on the
nerves. Stars have to align for that one in a billion chance.

The Dolphins with a QB friendly coach and Andrew Luck and Brandon
Marshall spells big trouble for the division. And I don't think it
takes more than a year to get Luck on the field because he looks ready
right now. Shit, I'd plan to start him next September. The least
he'd do is be a royal pain in the ass for a year. After that he'd
probably own the division for a decade or more.

Luck is the best young talent in the draft in the past decade.

I don't care... we have a lot bigger problems than Sanchez.
We need OLmen, WRs, LBs, S, CBs.
Multiple draft picks is exactly what we need now, to build a consistent competitive team,
capable of winning Vince.

All Sanchez needs, is a coherent offensive plan, and a tutor (no pun intended) to help him
unlearn the crap he's been forced to ingest.
As I've said numerous times, I don't think he'll ever be great, but he's shown he can
perform at crunchtime, & in the playoffs. He's not the reason we lost in the playoffs...
& he's not even 25 yet.

Of course, chances are we're not going to be close to a top pick.

Well...to me this says it all...Schott has a Hell of a lot of power. Rex's
answer was stupid...of course he didn't catch a huge number of balls...they
didn't even get thrown to him...nobody on the freakin team has caught a lot
of balls....this team is headed in a very bad direction I think.

it does make you wonder how in charge Rex really is.
because I have to agree with many Jets fand that Schotty Jr is a problem.
the Pats D has had us Pats fans cringing all season and the Jets had 7 3 and
outs against it.

Rex was well aware of Mason's disruptive actions within the Ravens locker
room the final season Rex was with the Ravens. Makes me think that much like
the JETS at the time, the Texans feel they can use him more for his
information on the Ravens than his contributions in replacing Johnson.

Any idea yet on the draft round that was traded to the JETS?

all is not well in Jet land. Trying to make an example of he who
leaked to the press that the whole fuckin' team hates Schottenheimer.

That may well be true overall, I don't remember WRs being particularly prone to injury in the olden times.

But not running today's plays. Back then the D-players could do anything they wanted to receivers until the ball was in the air headed to one. Only if one blocked a receiver from catching a catchable ball that was coming down into his hands did a flag get thrown.

If anyone ran today's crossing routes against the Steel Curtain, Lambert and Ham would have sent heads rolling across the field.

Namath's possession receiver across from Maynard, George Sauer, was an all-pro, really superior. But he isn't at the top of the Jets leader lists because he retired early at age 27, because he was tired of taking the physical beatings that went with being a WR.

So all you did was prove it is a physical game and always has been. The
game for the TE could become a much bigger deal and you control that stuff
over the middle by having a good interior running game. It was still a more
controlled game.

Haha if you inserted them into today's lineup, they'd most likely get
demolished. There are WRs bigger than Jack Lambert. :)

The need for safety is justified. Players have gotten bigger, faster,
and stronger, which generally means bigger collisions. I just don't
think the league is taking the proper approach here. Improving
helmets, reporting concussions, etc is good policy. Long overdue
stuff, really. But limiting hits to the point where you cripple the
game is not good. This insanity they've done with kickoffs is stupid
too.

When Rex points fingers at the defense in cases like this, it can
only
mean one of two things, and neither one is good.

1. Rex is out of touch and only cares about his defense. He is not
able to see, nor does not care what the offense does because he
thinks
his defense is good enouth to win even if they only score once a
game on offense.

2. Rex knows the offense sucks, but he can only point to what he can
control (defense) because his hands are tied where Schotty is
concerned.

Take your pick.

Jets spokesman Bruce Speight told NFL.com on Tuesday that "the cameraman in the
picture works for Jets TV, is wearing a green vest and shoots footage for our team
programming."

NFL Network's Albert Breer pointed to the the league's 2011 policy on sideline media
access, which clarifies that this type of recording is permitted:

"Club video crews and video crews from television stations that produce and telecast
club-licensed programming (e.g. coaches' shows, team magazine-style shows, etc.) may also
be permitted to have a camera on the sidelines to shoot footage for those club-licensed
programs only.

"Home and visiting club-related sideline video personnel (those shooting for coaches'
shows and team programming, scoreboard cameras, etc.) will wear lime-green vests."

To a degree, Sanchez will still indeed suck when Schotty is gone. The
probability is that he'll get a lot better under an oc that knows what
he is doing.

I almost believed that, until I found out that Goodell destroyed his

Goodell also set fire to the grassy knoll and blew up the moon.

Would Luck be any better in Schott's offense?

And another good young QB would get ruined.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/10/11/photo-of-jets-employee-with-sideline-camera-creates-stir/

It began last night. And it continues.

Member after member of PFT Planet has sent in a link to a still frame from Sundays Jets-Patriots game, featuring the presence of a credentialed member of the Jets staff holding a television camera and pointing it at across the field, presumably at the Patriots sideline.

The image, appearing on the screen for only an instant at the start of the second quarter over the shoulder of offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, seems to reflect a clear violation of league rules. (And the photo in the link hasnt been altered; weve confirmed the presence of the camera via the game broadcast.)

Specifically, the NFL Game Operations Manual states that no video recording devices of any kind are permitted to be in use in the coaches booth, on the field, or in the locker room during the game, and that all video shooting locations must be enclosed on all sides with a roof overhead.

Weve asked both the Jets and the league office for comment, based on the images that appear in plain sight during the CBS broadcast of the game.

The development comes little more than four years after the original Spygate scandal, which came to light as a result of the presence of a video camera on the Patriots sideline when the Jets hosted New England in Week One of the regular season.

UPDATE 10:02 a.m. ET: The Jets have explained the presence of the man with the camera. Under certain circumstances, the practice is permitted. But its amazing that NFL coaches are fine with team employees shooting video and then relying on the honor system to ensure that the video wont be used for any improper purpose.

Big deal. The Jets videotaped the Patriots sending defensive signals
in that meant "stop sucking."

Goddell had been fining Black players and he needed a White guy to fine.
Belichik being White and even better a coach was the perfect victim. it is
also why the fine was so huge, The NFL wanted to look like it was fair and
not picking on the brothers, that was why the whole "spygate" bullshit
happened.
I don't think Goddell expected the outcry that followed.

Sanchez was the least touched QB in the league his rookie year. This
year 9 more QB's have been sacked more & I know that is not the entire
story but I don't have any number on QB pressure/ hurries.

What I am talking about is when he has no or little pressure & has
multiple choices & makes the wrong decision. I can think of many times
that he threw into coverage when he had guys open or threw to a
player, completed the pass when he had a more open receiver.

Is he being coached or is that what he does?

That has been my point it is either him or Schott (Rex) & we can't
ditch Sanchez. In fairness to both of them losing Mangold was big &
has caused Sanchez to get hit more.

Papa, not quoting stats but other good QB's have been hit more. I
don't blame him when he is hit I blame him when he makes the wrong
decision.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Read what I said...he seems OK in play action....he seems OK with hurry up
offense...or at least better in these two situations and he does look stuff
off. So what makes him zero in when he is in drop back...to me, it has to
be because he is being told to expect something to happen..."look for..."
type deal....it does not make sense to be able to do it under other
circumstances.

"chatboard room" = obvious troll

Re bright lights:

1. ask on rec.bicycles.tech
2. go to a store and try some out

There are people that can't let it drop. Laff is one of them.
That means it's up to you. Your reward is that people here

Now if I do not reply then y'all will think
it is because I saw the light, or took your

None of those cases holds.

So just for a fat-burrner?

You already have a heart rate monitor I presume?

Then buy the cheapest mag-trainer you can find.

Get the cheapest junk mtb/vtt you can find used somewhere.

set up a fan close by - to cool you

Put a couple of towels within easy reach

Put plenty of water within easy reach

Put a race video on your laptop

Determine how long you want to spend "in zone" (on your hrm) and have at
it.

Folding rollers with a mag/wind resistance unit. Improving your
smoothness and balance on a bike is just as important as burning
calories. At least to bike riders.

If you wanted a computer on your trainer, mount a laptop on your
handlebars while riding the rollers. I'm only half kidding.

That is sure-enough a plan. Davy has obviously spent a winter or two
in the Alamo (although truth be told, San Antonio TX is pretty far
into the two-season zone and what snow might occasionally fall doesn't
last long. But it does get cold & rainy, no doubt about that).

I have used a Cyclops Mag trainer, which might not be "cheapest" but
is IMHO a good place to spend money on a trainer, especially a clean
used one (many "used" trainers and rollers have been mostly stored as
it takes a lot of gumption to wear out a bike trainer or a set of
rollers). Some people strongly prefer fluid models for the
"feel" (closer to real road experience) which I can't find fault with
but don't necessarily "agree" with, either.
Wind trainers are usually awfully noisy. With a mag, you can watch TV
or whatever for that needed distraction. The fluids are even quieter,
from what I understand.

(Annual End-of-Summer Sales Job on "Why a club membership is better
than a trainer in your house" follows):
Plan B? By the time you buy a fancy-dan trainer, you might be able to
pay for a winter's worth of gym time somewhere, maybe including gas
money if you can't or don't want to ride your bike there and back.
Club memberships can range from cheap/basic, with a smaller room with
limited equipment that you basically just "have at", to establishments
that offer "trainers" (roving helper people), and activity classes
(some included, some nominally extra $$$), including Spin classes. I
spent a few productive seasons at Spin, with some classes led by an
old female racer friend from back in the day. Very, very good, if just
a lucky happenstance. NOT a loud music/scream at you session with a
bucket of freebie earplugs up at the front, whatsoever! <g>
Plus variety: the free weights, various exercise machines (which can
be really the way to go for someone who is not a dedicated free weight
lifter), steppers, treadmills, showers, sauna, steam room, whirlpool,
cold pool, whatever.

In one place, I spent my time on a rower. Concept 2 brand. A very nice
young woman from the local varsity rowing team very nicely got me
lined out on "what to do". I was still married at the time and did not
get her phone number (yes, there are women...). And the rower, which
the rower people call an "erg", will give you all the workout you can
handle while posing a new-technique learning curve, which helps pass
the time. Earphones, FM radio tuned to the audio for the football game
on the overhead TV...

One big advantage of the club setup: you work out away from the house.
Makes it easier, perhaps, to perform and being in the middle of a
roomful of exercisers can be a big lift, compared to suffering alone
<g>. No clutter, mess, setup/teardown, etc., and if you use something
more "upscale", you sauna/steamroom/whatever at the club (using their
hot water and towels) and come home nice and pink and fresh, and,
again, your home is yours, while the workout happens elsewhere.

How am I doing, Davy?

Well, there's a surprise! Who ever would have guessed that? I think
what swayed him was the possibility of getting paid in a currency that
might still have some value ;-)

British cycling star Mark Cavendish has announced he will be joining
Team Sky for the start of next season.

The 26-year-old won the green jersey at the Tour de France before
collecting the world road race title this year.

"I'm confident that we can achieve success with the guys at Sky and my
aim is to win stages and the green jersey at the Tour de France," he
said.

With peanuts inside. Never forget the peanuts.

Presumably a 50% tax rate means he only gets half a peanut.

TO ALL THE CAUCASIANS READNG THIS MESSAGE,

I am NOT a muslim myself and It is NOT the Muslims who will take away your
freedoms, civil liberties that you never had in the first place.

It is the FORKED TONGUED CHRISTIAN PSYCHOPATHS like YOURSELF who SECRETLY
CHIPPED about 1 MILLION AMERICANS with SYNTHETIC TELEPATHY chips already
and torturing them for more than twenty years that are taking away your
"very limited" freedoms and civil liberties.

Muslims neither have the INTELLIGENCE nor the TECHNOLOGY nor the MONEY nor
the CUNNING FORKED TONGUES to even make a DENT in your fucking pathetic
slavish lives.........

This is how the WHITE CHRISTIAN AMERICAN TERRORISTS are RAPING, TORTURING
and KILLING POWERLESS Americans for decades.....

MODUS OPERANDI OF FBI, CIA and NSA PSYCHOPATHS and TERRORISTS
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.mindcontrol/msg/9329d2af1c6e5f8b?h...

If somehow the RELIGION PART is magically removed from MUSLIM TERRORIST
minds, they will be NICE HUMAN BEINGS.....

But RELIGION has NOTHING TO DO with WHITE CHRISTIAN PSYCHOPATHIC BLOOD LUST,
SADISM and PERVERSION.......It is in their GENES, BLOOD and BRAIN..........

Which means WHITE CHRISTIAN TERRORISTS in WESTERN GOVERNMENTS are the MOST
EVIL ANIMALS on the planet......

Your psychopathic governments programmed your brains to think every one who
accuses the government of tortures is "delusional".

MKULTRA and COINTELPRO were never terminated. They merely became SECRET
TORTURES.

Stop watching those stupid fucking reality shows Kardashians, Jon and Kate,
Jersey Shore and the rest of the dumb american shit and use that fucking
time to google and youtube for SYNTHETIC TELEPATHY, MKULTRA,
DEW Weapons and COINTELPRO.........

If you trust the EVIL WHITE CHRISTIAN MEN at CIA, NSA and FBI, you are
digging your own grave.
