How To Make Your Marketing Viral

An idea will only catch on if people like it; A marketing message will only become viral if people believe it. So, how do you use viral marketing to gain customers and increase your revenue stream? Here are three key tips to follow:

1. Be Creative. If you are selling widgets, make those widgets stand out! Nobody wants to buy a widget that is simply "easy to use" and "better than the rest". People respond to innovation, to creativity, to things that appear to be exciting and new… even if they are not. Don't waste your time with sales driven messaging. Instead, spend your time carefully crafting creative marketing that will grab the attention of others. Once you have their attention, going viral is the next logical step.

2. Be Different. There's nothing worse than more of the same. You and your business have to stand out in the crowd. And even if your product is one in a million, make that one appear different and most importantly, the best. How? Add value to your offerings by incentivizing your products. Make customers feel appreciated and deliver on your promises. And above all, stay on top of the competition. You can't do it better than them if you don't know what they are doing and how they are doing it. Find out what message your competitors are sending and differentiate yourself with a stronger message, more strategic campaign and overall better offering.

3. Be Consistent. Without proper management, the attempt to go viral with any campaign can quickly turn sour. Consistency is key with any marketing, but when attempting to go viral, you will need to stay on top of every single message you put out there… and do so often. Viral marketing takes a lot of time and quality management. Prepare yourself to make this part of your daily routine, and invest your time as you would invest your capital into any advertising projects. While viral marketing is essentially "free", you will need to spend valuable time and effort in order to make it work for you.

Whether you are a veteran of the viral marketing world or new to this approach, remember that it's about what you put in that really matters. The more you manage all aspects of your online marketing, from tweeting to status updates, to feeds and daily blog posts, your message can only go viral if you are putting it out there on a regular basis.

And don't simply plaster your social media accounts with sales copy and unattractive pitches. As we've discussed, be creative. What would interest you? What would you want to share with your friends, family and colleagues? What would you encourage others to take a look at?

How to Build an Impressive Chest

Question: I have heard that the bench press is a crappy chest exercise. Is this true? If it sucks, what's better?

Answer: The bench press is a great exercise. If you bench properly, there will be minimal pectoral involvement, however. The triceps and front delts will do most of the work. This is individual and is based on your strengths and weaknesses, but for the most part, your chest will not be doing the majority of the work when you bench press. Animated Banner

Trying to make the bench press target the pecs more by bringing your elbows out wide and lowering the bar up higher on your chest (the way that bodybuilding magazines typically show you how to do it) is a shoulder injury waiting to happen, so that's not an option to even consider. I did these many years ago for a few months before I knew any better and my shoulder has never been the same since. Don't make the same mistakes that I did.

Even though the pecs do not do the majority of work during the bench press I still think it's is a tremendous, if somewhat overused, mass builder for the whole upper body. If you have shoulder issues, however, it should be avoided at all costs, but for everyone else it is one of the great upper-body exercises.

Equally as effective, if not more so, is the dumbbell bench press. The dumbbells allow a more natural range of motion and are much safer. These can be done on a flat bench or an incline bench. The dumbbells also give you the option of pressing with your palms facing down toward your feet (pronated) as they do when you press with a bar or with your palms facing each other, in toward your body. The latter variety places less stress on your shoulders but if you are healthy you could probably use both varieties.

Finally, pushups of all varieties will always remain among my top chest builders. My favorites are weighted blast-strap (blast straps are available at www.EliteFTS.com pushups with the straps set about five feet apart from each other. The function of the pecs is to draw the arms across the midline of the body. By setting the straps far apart from each other, you make the pecs function in this way as you press/pull yourself back up from the bottom position. You have to do it and feel it to appreciate what I'm talking about, but I don't think you will find a better chest exercise than this. If, like Frank Rizzo of the Jerky Boys, you have a chest like a wet blanket, then I highly recommend you give this exercise a try.

 How Much Water Should You Drink?

A Sacramento, CA radio station held a contest called "No Wee for a Wii." It was a water drinking contest to see how much the contestants could drink without going to the bathroom. Ultimately the 2nd place winner (Jennifer Strange) paid with her life! Yes, you can actually die from drinking too much water.
As early as 1601, Tycho Brahe (an early astronomer) was though to have died from straining his bladder. It had been said that to leave the banquet before it concluded would be the height of bad manners, and so he remained, and that his bladder, stretched to its limit, developed an infection which he later died of. Later evidence suggested this might not be the case.
There are several other notorious cases in which infants, runners and a fraternity hazing lead to deaths from water intoxication.
While this is another sad story, it's clear that for many years, Americans have been told by the media and doctors that we are dehydrated. We need to drink more water!
Many times such things lead to scare tactic websites and total confusion. Which is why I think the following chart may help you to SAFELY determine how much water you need to stay properly hydrated for your activity without over consumption.

Recommended Water Intake:
Step 1 Select an appropriate need factor.
Need Factors
0.5 — Sedentary no sports or training
0.6 — Jogger or light fitness training
0.7 — Sports participation or moderate training 3 times a week
0.8 — Moderate daily weight training or aerobic training
0.9 — Heavy weight training daily
1.0 — Heavy weight training daily plus sports training or "2-a-day" training
Step 2 Multiply weight (in pounds) by the appropriate need factor to arrive at the recommended water intake in ounces per day.
Example 1 120 pounds x 0.6 = 72 ounces per day
Example 2 200 pounds x 0.7 =140 ounces per day
We recommend that you drink water eight to twelve times per day.
Example 1 72 ounces per day divided by 10 glasses = 7.2 ounces per glass
Example 2 140 ounces per day divided by 12 glasses = 11.7 ounces per glass
My prayers go out to the family and the 3 children Jennifer left behind. It was a sad story. Hopefully, thru word of mouth and this chart, it might be prevented in the future.

No matter what type of email you send out, you'll need a mailing list. The basic way to build a mailing list is by capturing name and email address information for everyone who buys or shows interest in your product.

An email list that YOU COLLECT YOURSELF is worth its weight in gold. This can be accomplished by using a list manager on your site. List managers also provide the HTML coding for the form on the Gateway pages. A list manager collects the email addresses that are gathered with the form. Thus, your email list is collected. This might take some time so there are methods to use until you get your own email list built.

One way to build a mailing list is to do ad swaps with other list owners. The way this works is, you (as company A) have an email list that you send newsletters to and another list owner (company B) has a list they send newsletters to. Fixing Red Eye with Adobe Photoshop

It is a common problem. Your have captured some adorable photographs of your new baby boy and can't wait to show them off to your friends and family only to be disappointed, when you look at them on your computer or pick them up from the photo lab, by the terrible red eye.

Your precious child looks like a demon or something from a scary movie. This problem is commonly referred to as "red eye."

Red eye is caused by the light from camera's flash reflecting off of the retina in the back of the eye. In low light conditions the iris of the eye is larger providing for a larger surface to appear red in your photos. Unfortunately, it is in low light conditions that a flash is needed the most.

Red is becoming more and more of a problem and this is partly due to the emergence of digital photo technology. Since digital cameras do not need the same internal mechanics or space for film they are becoming smaller and smaller compared to their film counterparts.

This means that the flash is much closer to the lens. In fact, in most new point and shoot digital cameras the flash is directly above the lens. This is the problem. When the flash is closer to the lens it causes the flash to enter the iris directly and reflect straight back to the camera causing the terrible red eye that has ruined your family pictures.

Most digital cameras have a red eye reduction feature built in which causes a pre flash immediately before the camera exposes the image. This causes the iris to become smaller for the actual picture.

Unfortunately, this function rarely completely eliminates red eye from your photographs. Since most point and shoot digital cameras do not have a hot shoe allowing the photographer to add a flash away from the camera the only option for eliminating red eye is to fix it after the fact.

This is where Adobe Photoshop comes in. Photoshop makes it easy to correct even the worst cases of red eye in photographs. Are you concerned that Photoshop is too complicated or difficult to learn? Don't be. Even someone with no experience at all can quickly and easily learn to fix red eye like a pro using Adobe Photoshop.

Alcohol And Body Fat

QUESTION: Tom, what about alcohol? How does that fit into your burning fat program? I am not talking binge drinking, just one or two a day.

John

ANSWER: Hi John. A couple drinks on the weekend and or on special ocassions probably won't have any major impact on your fat loss results (although I would encourage you to consider the mindset that EVERYTHING you do either helps or hurts).

A drink or two on ocassion is a part of enjoying life for many people, and it's important to find lifestyle balance for the sake of your long term happiness and success.

However, I do not recommend drinking every day.

"A couple every day" adds a LOT of extra calories to your daily diet. If you're talking about two 150-calorie beers, thats 300 calories extra a day or 2100 extra calories a week.

Multiply that out for a year and you have 109,200 extra calories! WOW! That's potentially 31.2 pounds of fat in a year.

If you DO account for the calories in those drinks, then you have another conundrum – the alcohol calories displace good valuable food calories…

Drinking gives you empty alcohol calories with virtually no nutritional value (and some negative value in more way than one), while pushing out important vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals essential amino acids, essential fatty acids, fiber and other good stuff.

Alcohol also inhibits fat burning. While your liver is busy metabolizing alcohol, it puts your fat metabolism on hold. That's why I do NOT recommend any drinking when you are on a fat loss program (at least if you are serious about it).

When you are on a regular, year-round lifestyle/maintenance program I recommend that if you drink, you do so in moderation, keep it to special occasions or weekends and remember to factor in those calories to your daily intake.

By the way, there's a major risk to drinking every day – even just one or two – that most people don't even think about:

Daily drinking is habit forming. Anything you do every day easily becomes a habit that is difficult to break later.

On the other hand, if you could establish the habit of eating 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables and getting some exercise every single day, those would be habits worth forming! :-)

Atopic Eczema

Atopic eczema is a disease distinguished by chronic inflammation of the skin. This is also called atopic dermatitis and can be hereditary. This is actually the most common form of eczema. 6 Home Cure Tennis Elbow Treatments

After this you can use the ice pace for 15 to 20 minutes approximately three times a day. You can do this in the morning, afternoon, and about two hours before bed.

3. Wear a counter force brace. A counter force brace should be worn during any activities that involve grasping or arm twisting movements. This brace is a strap that is worn around your forearm just below the elbow. This helps to spread the pressure throughout your arm. It should be noted that these braces are not a substitute for exercises that should also be performed.

4. Elevate your elbow. As much as possible you should try to elevate your elbow as this will help to relieve the pain and reduce any swelling in your wrist and forearm.

5. Use anti-inflammatory medication. When taking pain relief medication for tennis elbow you need to make sure that you take nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) as these will help to reduce any inflammation as well as provide adequate pain relief.

6. Exercise. You should do simple warm up and stretching exercises every day to help prevent stiffening of your tendons. If you feel any pain though you should stop as you can do more damage if you don't listen to your body.

By practicing these home cures for tennis elbow treatments you should notice a big different in your tennis elbow symptoms and pain and you should also help to speed up the recovery period.

Some people may call these "healthy snacks", but I prefer to consider them meals because they should be similar in size to your breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, if you want to spread your calorie intake out over the full day to "graze" so to speak.

After all, I'm sure it's no secret by now that eating 5-6 small meals per day is a much better strategy (for blood sugar control and appetite control) for getting lean compared to the traditional "3 squares" a day (which for most people, turns into only 2 big meals/day as many skip breakfast).

The problem that I see most people having is being prepared enough to bring healthy "mid-meals" with them to work for the day. Aquaponics – The New QWay of Growing Plants – Fast

This is one of the most common questions around people who first learn about aquaponics. If you do not change the water, nor clean it in any way, what happens with the excrements fish leave behind? Well in order to answer to this question we must go back to the very basic principle on which aquaponics relay.

Aquaponics is a way of taking advantage of the interdependence which can be created between fish and plants. Fish are placed in a tank and left there for a while. The goal is to keep them alive so that they eat and poop in a normal way, as the fish poop will be used as food for the plants. This may sound quite strange at first as the fish excrements contain ammonia, which is toxic for the fish and may endanger their lives.

This problem is solved naturally, as the ammonia is decomposed, in the presence of oxygen, into nitrites and afterwards nitrates, which are benefic for the plants. When the amount of nitrites reached the appropriate level, seeds are propagated in netting pots. From them plants grow and assimilate the nitrates, thus leaving the water fresh and clean for the fish.

A full cycle takes up to 3 months, this is why it is recommended that the seeds will be propagated after 3 months from the acquisition of the fish. Because this is a continuous cycle, there will not be periods in which the plant will not have enough supplies to grow, unless the fish are not in good condition. Thus, apart from the fact that you grow fish for your meals, you will also need the fish poop to set the aquaponic system as this is the starting point of the entire business.

Great things start indeed from simple things, as you can see! Thus if you hated cleaning your fish tank, this aquaponic system will solve your problem and will give you fresh, healthy and organic veggies for you and your family. With so many advantages, you should really give it a try! It will be easier than keeping only a fish tank in your home and will certainly be more convenient!

Dealing with Eczema and the Lifestyle Changes

If you suffer from eczema, you may have turned to the internet or asked your doctor about treatment options.  There are many ways to treat eczema, but they aren't one-time things.  To successfully manage and deal with eczema, you must make important lifestyle changes.  As hard as this sounds, it is key to living your life without constant eczema flare-ups.

What lifestyle changes may need to be made?  Honestly, it all depends on what causes your skin irritation.

A common cause of eczema is certain foods.  Many patients experience an outbreak after eating milk, eggs, wheat, seafood, and peanut butter.  Other foods can be the cause too.  Although the risk of atopic dermatitis is always present, you can significantly reduce the number of outbreaks and flare-ups you have by eliminating certain foods.  Keep a journal to compare what you eat to when you have an outbreak.  If you believe you found a culprit, work on eliminating these foods from your diet.

Here is where the lifestyle change comes in.  Eliminating food from your diet?  That may be okay if your trigger factor is seafood.  Seafood tastes great, but isn't a necessity.  On the other hand, we all consume milks and eggs and on a regular basis.  There are alternatives, but they taste different and will take some getting used to.  You want to stop eczema outbreaks, but you are also making a lifestyle change.  For that reason, take it slow.  If you think milk is the culprit, don't automatically eliminate it from your diet if you don't want.  Instead, slowly start replacing it with the alternatives.

In addition to foods, another cause of eczema flare-ups is exposure to certain airborne allergens.  Some have experienced skin irritation when coming into contact with dust and pet dander.  These too can lead to hard lifestyle changes. What if your parents have a dog?  Of course, you don't want to avoid seeing them, but discuss your eczema with them.  You can meet outside of their home, avoid direct contact with their dog, and wear covering clothes when visiting.

Another way to successfully treat eczema is to make the switch to all-natural.  Some individuals experience flare-ups after coming into contact with certain chemicals, like those found in scented laundry detergents and beauty products.  Luckily, this switch is more easier to make.  Get your body and skin back to its original state with natural and organic beauty products, foods, and literally anything else you can think of.

Blood Pressure Prescription Medication – What 3 Things You Should Know to Avoid a Heart Attack

Has Someone Strange Been Calling Your Home?

A very good friend of mine recently began experiencing problems at her home. Usually around three in the morning, she would get a few telephone calls. When she answered her phone, there was either no one there, or someone would make a crude comment and then hang up. The first time she got a call, she woke up paranoid that something had happened to a family member. Why else would she get a phone call in the middle of the night like that, right? A few calls later, she imagined it was some teenagers trying to get a cheap laugh. Then, after a couple of weeks where she got the calls every single night, she began to get worried.
She traced the numbers with her tracing option through the phone company, but they came back as cell phone numbers and there were no names with them. So she had the numbers, but there was no one to point to. She did call the police but they told her that typically, calls like this would go away and that if they became more serious or threatening, they would check it out. She felt a little helpless. Refusing to turn her telephone off at night just in case there was an emergency with her family or something, she continued to get the calls.
At lunch just a few days ago, she was extremely tired and upset. As we were discussing it with a third friend of ours, that friend told us about a website. The address was StateRegistry.org. Our friend said that since most cell phones are unlisted and that it's hard to find the name, there were few places where you could find information that would really help. However, he told us that through this website, you could simply type in the cell phone number and you would find out all sorts of information. You can find out everything from the full name and home number of the person that owns the cell phone, to the address and even criminal and civil information. So if the caller was a convicted criminal, you could find that out.
I went back to her house with her and we checked the number together. Our other friend was right. She got the full name and address of her caller and she was surprised to find out he did have a criminal background. We were both terrified for her, and I insisted we leave and go directly to the police station with the information we had found. Luckily, because the caller was a criminal, the police got serious about action and paid a visit. They arrested the caller and my friend was able to press charges. Thank goodness we could find the information. I dread thinking about what might have happened if we hadn't.

Healthy Tips for your Children

2. Let's try and stay away from words like "weight loss" or "weight gain" and definitely avoid the word "fat". Make it about "HEALTH". Let your child know that being healthy is fun.

3. Be the healthy change you wish to see in your child. Show your child that genetics, time, and nothing else can get in the way of you getting healthy. Work on your biggest health obstacle and chances are you will see the same change in your child.

Third, the weather. When you are high up in a tree the effects of the wind on you will be greatly exaggerated, and while balancing this is not good. This is because you need to be mindful of the sail-like properties of any large boards you take up with you to avoid being knocked out of the tree yourself or losing the board and it hitting another unsuspecting person below.

O.K. now if the wind is strong you should not be up a tree at all, but even on relatively calm days you need to be careful with materials and yourself.

Just avoiding the dangers will not necessarily mean that you will win the battle when learning how to build a tree house as a beginner but it will make you cautious. Better Safe Than Sorry!

How To Place A Photo Into Text

Have you always wondered how to put photos into text using Photoshop? This Photoshop trick is perfect for creating simple yet cool looking headers for your websites or blogs. Say you are planning on setting up a website, but you are totally clueless on how to design the header and hiring a professional graphic designer is out of your budget, no worries, with Photoshop you can bang out a simple and sleek looking website header in no time by applying this really cool Photoshop trick. You can also use this effect to create magazine covers, movie posters, ebook covers and much, much more.Ok, without further ado, here are the steps on how to place a photo into text:

  1. Open a new file then go over to the Horizontal Type Tool or vertical Type Tool and click on the icon. Next just type whatever text you want using the type tool.
  2. Open up a photo that you wish to place inside the text and the go to Select > Select All (alternately hit ctrl+A on the keyboard).
  3. Once you've selected the whole image or photo, just go over to Edit > Copy (ctrl+ C on the keyboard).
  4. Next head over to image where you created the text and hit ctrl + V on the keyboard or go to Edit > Paste. Now you have pasted the whole photo onto the text but how do you place it into the text? Take a look at your layer palette; notice that the image layer (layer 1) is right above the text layer? Yes? Cool, because in the next step you will discover how to insert the image layer into the text layer via the layer palette.
  5. Go over to the layer palette and hold the Alt key on your keyboard. Then move the cursor right between the layer that contains your photo and the text layer. Once you do this, you should be able to see that the cursor has changed shape.
  6. Left click on the mouse and bingo! You have successfully placed a photo into text. Of course you can still make some adjustments like moving or resizing the photo inside the text or even the text itself, so that the whole effect looks just right. Simply use the Move Tool (V) to move the image around or go to Edit > Free Transform (ctrl+ T) to resize the photo.

That is how you do a photo into text trick in Photoshop. It's so simple isn't it? You can also spice up the whole thing by adding a few layer effects like bevel and emboss and what not. With Photoshop, anything is possible so get creative!

What Every Dieter Needs To Know About Restaurants

Eating out in a restaurant can be a dieters worst nightmare. There are so many scrumptious looking meals that can tickle our temptations. Unfortunately though, many of these are not good for the waistline. But luckily, with a bit or care and discipline, eating out can be lots of fun even if you are watching your figure.

Once you've got into the routine of eating healthily at home you'll most likely be feeling the benefits. As you get used to it, you will probably realise that it is not that hard.

When you go out to dine though, it can hard to resist the temptation to tuck into a tasty looking high calorie meal. You need to be careful when dining; eating one high fat meal could undo a weeks worth or hard work and discipline.

When eating out, do a bit of research and take care. Before dining out, narrow down your local restaurants to only the ones that do not serve oily and greasy foods. Or, see if the restaurant offers lightly sautéed or grilled dishes rather than just frying them.

If you've gotten used to eating healthily at home and eating all the right things, eating responsibly in a restaurant will be as easy as ABC. Like when eating at home, be sure your intake of fresh veggies is high, whether this is in the form of salads or side dishes. If you are to eat a fatty meal like pizza, balance it out with fresh greens.

A wise way to dine out is to eat multiple small dishes rather than having one big dish. This makes eating out a lot of fun, and lets your taste lots of different fascinating flavours. Again, balance out whatever you eat with healthy salads, and stick to water and fruit juice rather than carbonated sodas.

If possible, don't eat all of your meal in one go; ask if you can take some of it home to eat later.

If you are eating fast food, be responsible and only order a single burger with salad, and avoid topping it off with cheese and mayonnaise. Stick to just thin crust pizzas and go easy on the cheese.

Eating out does not have to become boring just because you are on a diet. In fact, it can be a lot of fun because it will make you realise that are lots of healthy meals out there that taste wonderful.

With a little bit of care a discipline, you can enjoy eating out whenever you like without having to worry about what it will do to you waist.

Serious Weight Loss – Three Ways to Lose Belly Fat

This article may help you shed some unwanted space from around your waist line. It has me helped to lose some weight, gain energy and lower my blood pressure.It was not too long ago that I was carrying over 240 pounds on frame that is five foot eight inches. Fat, tired and miserable to everyone around me and my blood pressure was rising. I decided to look into ways to get myself started back to a reasonable weight. It is quite embarrassing when you cannot even see your feet and get close to the ones you care about because your belly fat is in the way. Not only that, it is very depressing.

That being said I decided to spend some money on fat loss books to figure out what I needed to do. To my surprise much of the information mentioned in these weight loss work out books were similar.
These books had at least three things in common

1. Build Muscle
2. Interval Train
3. Fat Burning Nutrition

Build Muscle: The common theory is that muscle burns fat when you are not working out. Muscle needs to continuously repair itself when it broken down from a workout. When you replace the nutrients it needs it takes energy to build muscle. When you rest, that energy comes from burning fat. I guess the idea is to burn sugar during your work out and fat while you repair and regenerate.

Interval Training: The idea of slow steady jogging appears to be outdated for belly fat loss. The idea is to challenge the body to intense short exercise spurts with recovery in between. This causes the body to crave oxygen after a workout and oxygen burns fat for energy.

Fat Burning Nutrition: There are some foods that "burn" belly fat and other that pile it on. If you are looking to lose belly fat, reduce your alcohol intake, white sugar consumption and fried food. Replace those with veggies, fish and fruit.

Now if you are on blood pressure medication check with your family doctor as to the exercises you can do safely. Your best bet is to start with proper nutrition. You cannot out work a bad diet.

Since making these changes I have been able to lose close to seventeen pounds, lower my blood pressure to safe levels and my increase energy.

There are multiple factors which can influence breathing, such as stress, body posture, pollution and smoking.
